I just started listening to Cow Parade Cow and I'm really diggin' it. Reminds me of the Brains Teazer and Animal Collective, among other things. His album streams here:

http://cowparadecow.bandcamp.com/album/to-the-north

Watermelon Medina, Drowning Music, and Beagle Personality are all good tracks, just to name a few...

I saw Primal Scream play ' Screamadelica' live last week - amazing show.
Took me back to the glory days of 1991, one of my favourite albums of all time,
absolutely timeless. Nearly brought tears to my eyes......... :D

Yeraz sounds like a lost Avalanches track, remixed by Quiet Village.... dreamy!

Thats nice, Im listening to a few of his other tracks & started following. New Battles album Gloss Drop doesn't have the impact the earlier albums did, I love Ice Scream though, it dues a few more listens anyway. Also floatin the boat are :

Flashman - To The Victor - The Spoils!
This is a Fred Deakin & Robin Jones (from Beta Band) combo. Only got it yesterday but came out Feb. Sorta funky, jazzy, folky instrumental electronica. Theres a track on this page
http://acidted.wordpress.com/2011/03/02 ... beta-band/

Chemical Brothers - Hanna OST
Need I say more?! I will. A great score for what looks to be a cool movie. I dont know why its taken so long for someone to ask them to make a soundtrack. Couple of really great stand alone tracks on this, I hope it gets the remix treatment like Tron OST did.

Suuns - Up past the nursery
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9Cgh8-Np6c

Le Corps Mince De Francoise - Ghandi (I have loads of love for this track)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3f_DSs54MO8

Art vs Science - Take a Look at your Face (pretty stomping, has been working its way into my sets lately)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVVj9HpWKGk

and finally

Le Ultrasonic - Grand Empire

It's a lovely, smiley combination of Teenage Fanclub, Phoenix, maybe a bit of Belle and Sebastian, and some Air vocoders for good measure. It's light and frothy and warm and smile-inducing. Best album of the year for me so far....

Try Sunndal Song and Energy for a start...

Those of you who have managed to resist the charms of Dutch beat-meister Crookram might be interested to hear some of his new stuff which has a real Avs flavour.

Also, check out the album Through Windows (free download) if you haven't already. It fills some of the gap between Avs albums!

Thanks for the link to that blog - tons of brilliant rare stuff. What a find! Saving this to favourites. There's an Ennio Morricone sleep compilation and the most unusual xmas tape I ever saw...
