Hey dudes...... making a mix tape (well a mix cd but can't let the tape thing go) for my friends and I am so close to perfection with the ultimate hip hop cd (in my opinion) going from gansta to old skool, underground to alternative... and everywhere in between...BUT I am need a cool scratch song kinda like J5 Swing Set or Acetate Junkies...

My mind is blank I cannot get passed kid koala's drunk trumpet but thats not the right song.... any suggestions..

cheers p-hole

its just a compliation to give my friends a chance to listen to something different then whats on the radio. I try and give them one every 2 months called soul food(electonica and breaks) I am up to soul food five. I have been wanting to do a hip hop cd for my mates. I am going to call it Slippin' On Wax. Anyhow I wanted to cover most things but I didn't have a turntable song.

yeah...i dunno. you could take a track off q-bert's "wave twisters".

one of my favourite skratch tracks is "1, 2, drop a verse" by DJ J-Red and DJ Diverse...but its an aussie hip hop track...so i dunno about your chances of finding it...its mad tho...the beat is fucken sick!!!

if you want it, i could hook you up with it or something.

but yeah...i dunno. ill try and think of some more...

Numerous tracks from Mix Master Mike or the Invis Scratch Police. You really can't go wrong with one of the many 3MCs & 1 DJ remixes for the hip hop taste.

OR

you could go with Dexta's 1998 DMC Set - thanks to plazmic for the mp3.

you mean Invisibl Skratch Piklz, yeah? i never heard them being called that...

yeah, if you want a real turntablist track, you could go for something of q-bert's "wave twisters", or mix master mikes "anti-theft device", or kid koala's "carpel tunnel syndrome"...or something like that.

...or xecutioners...with linkin park. aha.

the mp3 i've got is only 96kbps tho...it sounds ok...but if you want a better copy or something, i might be able to rip it from vinyl...
