Given that there hasn't been a follow up album to the stratospherically good 'Since I Left You', isn't it about time there was a round-up of the large number of B-sides?

Here's a possible track listing:

Radio (Japan Only Remix)
Thank You Caroline
Everyday
Slow Walking
Undersea Community
With My Baby
Yamaha Superstar
GIMIX
Information
Let's Cheer
I'm Taken

plus at least one remix of each of the following tracks:
Since I Left You
Electricity
Frontier Psychiatrist
A Different Feeling

hey, why not make it a double and include:

El Producto CD EP - Australia
1. Untitled (Intro)
2. Rolling High
3. Rap Fever
4. Rock City
5. Under Inspection
6. Run DNA
7. Untitled (Outro)

The videos for the singles could even be included - am I asking too much now?

GIMIX could be left off to make way for some of the stuff that's on the list.

I think this adds to the case for a B-sides album. Few of the original releases are that easy to find these days - I haven't even heard GIMIX - but I'd like to. I'm sure there's others like me who'd like to hear more of the obscure stuff too.

I hope the person who voted no to a B-Sides collection isn't just hoping to maintain the value of their Avalanches collectables or one of those awful rarity snobs. I can't really see why else anyone would vote no though.

i vote for a 12-cd box set. 1 cd of sily, 1 cd of b-sides, 1 cd of gimix, and 9 cds of all the songs the avs have ever sampled.

plus an interactive application where, while listening to any avs song, you can click a button + it will show you all the songs that are being sampled by the portion of the song you are listening to. some kind of nice visualization to go with the app so you can see all these diff song titles flow by (like a layered timeline) while listening. it shouldn't be hard to write with their help? heck, i'll write it for free.

yeah El Producto is like one of the best albums I've heard so that should really be re-released.
