I'd hate to be cynical, but let's hope they don't encounter any 'scratches on a CD' while they are touring. There could be an unexplained illness that brings the tour to a halt! maybe that's what happened to U2!

Let's hope they bring back-up copies of thier 'DJ set' on tour just in case!

Any chance of anything before Xmas? --- If the Splendour set's unrecoverable, maybe there's something else that could be dug up to alleviate the massive disappointment?

Hekta, don't be so cynical.... I'm pretty sure the scratch in question was the recorded copy sent to the website administrator for uploading!!

Yes The Avs record their own edits and remixes but rest assured they mix live as well..

ALSO, The "Meredith Music Festival" documentary DVD comes out October 11. I believe it will have Avalanches footage from their dj set last December - i was there and saw that it was extensively videotaped. So keep an eye out for that one.

Love
Penny :)

Hmmm.must be because they played a dj set instead of set of beginning and end songs...that sucks!
