Tony only just started dj-ing solo....at the insistence of The Presets.

He was just playing at a party night that The Presets and Cut Copy put on.

i agree the entire song 10 times would be irritating. i don't know if he was playing the whole track or not though.

Those presets are a bad influence

Love Penny

This is incredible news...the Av's set at splendour was very very cool...me and my buddies were talkin' bout how they need to release some live sets to the public, it just aint right for such awesome material to go unheard on a big scale lol!

The set was very beat heavy...it had alot of Daft Punk, reminiscent of Gimix's Oh Yeah mixed with alot of 80's pop material. It started out with Crazy by Gnarls Barkley and for an hour the crowd was in an absolute frenzy. This was not like the Jamiroquai shows...the crowd was really feeling it. At heart it was just a fun set, and they pretty much cemented the fact that no matter how shit a song is, if the Lanches touch it, it instantly turns to gold. At one point they mixed in Bon Jovi and the crowd went nuts. I dont wanna give away any more of the material cause it will be such a buzz to hear it as a download! But yeah...once again no SILY material to be heard...though my mate reckons he heard a hint of some familiar sounds haha...

yeah. the show was fantastic, its so good they're bootlegging it. Its going to make for one hell of a good party at my house! They are terrific, i really hope they decide to do a tour one day, it was so amazing just to see the guys that created the most amazing album i've ever heard, and loved for years.. and not just that , but be impressed by how awesome their show really was.

Thanks for lossless for the link to the cd, ordered already :)

Good idea about the seperate section, any thoughts about a newsletter that could be sent out when/if any news is made available, upcoming gigs, releases etc

The set was fucking awesome, and my crew I was at splendour with will be well pleased that it will be available

A tremendous return to form.....the last set I saw I didn't really dig

But the Slippery when wet remixes got more than one run!!!

Was dancing like an invisible fool.....and the visuals were off tap too!!

For mine they slayed shadow.....although he'd had some technical (if you are de la cruz, this'd be testicle a la one mixup set he did!!!!) difficulties

The linketey link wll be ready in good time. Cyclone Larry took out a lot of bananas, and maybe it has affected the B1 & B2 headquarters. I'm keeping the chocolate luke warm 24/7 ready for the link. I know it's hard, but good things come to those that wait. and when the waiting is done, then we will crank it loud and party on endlessley untill we are all sore & fall over.

remember kids...sharks are cool.

my worry comes from a previous review from someone here that said they had technical difficulties at the show. not sure how bad it was, but hopefully not bad enough for them to scuttle plans to release the recording. plus they could edit it out if they like, unless they had planned on capturing the live feel or somesuch thing...
