News in today's paper is that the avs will be part of the austrade contingent to south by southwest and will be playing shows in texas, and also possibly LA and NY

Thought a few of you would be interested

this is kinda long, but the url should be all you need to see if the avs are playing anything officialish (related to the south by southwest thing)

some news on the associated goings on surrounding south by southwest, but these sound like wanky schmoozefests.......but would be worth a look

AUSTRADE--in association with the non-profit Australian Music Collective which produces the SxSW Australian Barbecue Concert of ten acts March 17 in Austin--is also facilitating a major showcase for the industry in Los Angeles Monday March 13 prior to SxSW at the legendary Troubador in Hollywood as well as two New York showcases in New York March 21 and 22 after SxSW concludes for music executives and agents in that industry centre at venues to be announced.

These guys are very involved so keep an eye on the line ups:
