well...i posted up about this album on dirty, and it didnt get any response...(well...1 response that his live show wasnt very impressive.)

but fuck it...i really like it, so i just thought i would mention it.

but just listened to the samples on hiphopinfinity and was blown away by the production! i can't believe this is Ant.

i told you so! these are among the best beats by Ant, in my opinion. best production he has done over an album, if you ask me.

i don't really dig him on the mic though. he's too ... pedestrian ... as in 'hi i'm an artist and i'm here to express myself' know what i mean? there's gotta be something more with the persona that drags me in; i kinda don't think he has enough of one. gotta hear more though.

i kinda felt this way about Sage Francis though he's a little more distinctive than Ali.

i guess i sorta know what you mean...but i dont really see him that way myself...dunno.


anyway, i guess i'll just have to see how the album holds out to continued listening over time.
