I had almost forgot this guy.. I loved the last one, but nothing comes close to the Promo mix cd he did for Portishead, that later became The Document. Hopefully you have heard it, but if you don't tell me and I will try to share it somewhere.

I've got some great sets he's done as part of Dynamo Productions if anyones interested. Including the set they did with Katalyst on the JJJ's Club earlier in the year.
They seem to be hard to come by on SLSK...

I have the original promo-cd so if you want it without the loss of mp3 compression I can copy one or two and send it out to start the sharing, and they can multiply and multiply untill we all have it..
Sounds like a good idea..?
I have tried to find a tracklist for it but there is no sign of it on the net, it is barely mentioned on some dicographys. It is a double cd with the mix on one and an interview with Geoff on the other.
Some parts are quite simmilar to the document it's just far far better. Believe me.

Are you on SLSK? If so what's your handle? I'd love to get hold of of those sets!

Cheers

My Soulseek username is aiken drum.

I'm nearly at my monthly cap quota (damn optus & 3gig) but should squeeze the last few MB's I have out of my connection on sunday, so I will be online then.

I still have to encode the JJJ set - at the moment its a 1.5gig wav file, but I've been looking for an excuse to do this for a while. :D

Drixx I'd love to get my hands on a copy of that promo cd if thats cool. I can then send it on to any aussies who want it. (I know lots of my friesnds will want a copy).

and alas on Sunday I will probably be hanging off my motorcycle on a mountain somewhere :D

If it's not too much hassle what's the likelihood of burning a copy onto cd? I missed them when they toured with Katalyst a few months ago because of bloody Qantas... I was not a happy camper...

Cheers

i have a couple bttb sets from dynamo productions, will happily share them if someone has some space somewhere.

I also have a mix off soulseek called Mixhead, by portishead. it sounds a lot like the document but isn't (kinda like gimix to SILY).

Let me know and i'll make them available somehow.....

Layout, PM me and I can send you a copy no problem.
So far the Katalyst, Dynamo Production was the best concert I've been to all year, so it was a bit of a bummer you didn't make it..
