hey...wasnt there only 2 different versions of since i left you released??? not including the pre-release version that kuya, and i think someone else said they had. and disregarding japanese edition, etc, which have extra tracks/video (which are the same versions in terms of the rest of the songs right?).

there was the original australian pressing (1st pressing). then there was the re-released aust/worldwide pressing that had been hacked to pieces (2nd pressing).

well, i never got around to buying the 2nd pressing on CD (but i have the vinyl which i assume is the same)...until the other day. well, i thought i did...

i just listened to the cd now...and it's not either of the above. its some sort of weird hybrid. some bits have certainly been hacked to pieces like the 2nd pressing, such as the absense of the "johnny, johnny, open up" skit at the start of Radio. but then, frontier phychiatrist doesnt have the wacked out redone vocal samples...

im confused!!!

in terms of the packaging...it has the list of samples like the second pressing, and "tonight". the cover is glossy, as opposed to the first pressing which was normal rough (well, smooth, but not glossy) cardboard. and the edges werent cut very well, with little flaky bits, if you know what i mean. small slithers of cardboard that are only slightly still attached.

its released on modular. MODCD014...same number as the second pressing yeah?

is this some new version?...or some hybrid bootleg? (but then why would they bootleg a hybrid version???)

hmmm...

wait a sec. this version is actually in the discography...

it appears that the second pressing was MODCD009, which is the same as the first pressing...and that MODCD014 is just another australian pressing.

so what is this pressing? it's in the discography, so i assume that someone knows what it is.

dont tell me they finally got the rights for some of the samples that had been taken out for the 2nd version, and put them back in for the 3rd pressing???

maybe im just forgetting...but i dont remember anything about it. i always thought the put out the second pressing version, and all the pressings after that were the same versino of the album...

or maybe im just half asleep...it is 7:45am, and i have stayed up all night doing an assignment...

someone set me straight, cause im confused...

The double 12" version is definitely different to the CD versions....

I've got the 1st pressing of the Aussie CD, but didn't know that the 2nd pressing was slightly edited-- I thought that the only changes were the glossier packaging.

the vinyl version is the same version as the "2nd pressing" CD.

well...i think it is. i've only heard the 2nd pressing once...

so there's:
0 - Pre-Release version a couple people have said they have.
1st pressing - Original release version on CD in Aus.
2nd pressing - Vinyl release, and International release on CD.
3rd??? - whatever the fuck i have.

so noone knows, or noone cares?

I'm a fan of anytime when huge amounts of snow can collapse and cover something else.
Also, I liked when my dad used to clean the pool.

The only audible difference on the aussie pre-release CDs is that the sample from Rogers and Hammerstine's South Pacific "Younger Than Spring Time...." Is still present.

In the end they couldn't get it cleared.
