If you LOVE Since I Left You, you may like "ladyflash" by The Go! Team.
I almost thought it was the new Avalanches single... can't find much info on the group or the track though. but it's great.

Ok, i'm spellbound by DJ Riz - Live In Brooklyn. Being relatively new to this stuff i can only pick out a dozen or so of the records used, and I can't find a tracklist anywhere.

I'm thinging Groovypanda is the person to do this job :) I can recognise the tracks that are on Mellow Mellow, which i bought because of Groovypanda's recommendation ;)

But there's so much goodness here. Can anyone help??

- CB -

p.s. Clipse - when the last time? What's the big deal?? Someone sent me that track back in the Audiogalaxy days! surely it's not new?

Timing is everything isn't it?

Read your post this morning - thought to self, mmm, Capt'n usually is on the money, must check out The Go! Team.

Went out to get lunch just now - had radio in car on Triple J, first song out of the news comes on. First time I'd heard it, not bad either. Reminds me a bit of the Avalanches. Wonder who it was?

Back announce comes up: Ladyflash by The Go!Team.

I luurrve it when things like that happen!

Now how will I stumble on to DJ Riz . . .

Aaahhh.. DJ Riz live in Brooklyn. I've had this for ages and It's totally played to death. I need a new copy as my vinyl is close to seethrough after beeing played too much.
This has to be the best live dj mix there is.. I can not find a single fault in the whole mix, and it is live. I might know it too well, and therefor thinking it's how it should be.. don't know, but it's good anyway.
I compiled a list for myself a long time ago, and have been collecting originals ever since. Thanks for mentioning this, cause I haven't listened to this for soo long. Will see if I find the list, or maybe try to compile a new one. Not complete, but I think I still got most of them covered.

Go! Team reminds me of 'Kickabout' by Teenage Fanclub, if anyone knows that.... I was listening to it on the train today, and it has the same sense of joy (which I think is where The Avalanches comparisons come in)...

And Cap'n, yes, and yes... next time I go back to Ma and Pa's I'll dig it out and post it, OK? With that other thing.

Is "DJ Rix - Live In Brooklyn" the proper title? If it's about 30 min. long, I think I've found it??
