Battle for Fabric

One of London's most popular nightclubs, Fabric, has gone into administration.

The superclub's owners could be forced to sell up but are appealing against costs estimated at £500,000 over a 'building standards dispute' and insist it's business as usual.

The club, which opened in 1999, was named best club by Muzik magazine in 2002.

i've also read that this doesn't mean the club is necessarily going to close as it is currently running at a profit so the creditors are pretty confident as long as it stays open they'll get their money - at some point!

Keith Reilly, a major shareholder and director, stated… “We are open for business this weekend, we will be open next weekend and every weekend after that. People come here to dance, they don’t want to know about anything else.â€
