Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I've been searching for the Paperclip People remix of "A Different Feeling" for...ever. Any ideas where I can get the Mp3? Any help would really be appreciated! Also, you know on Gimix where the track listing says 'Turbo' by Thomas Bangalter? The part with the cascading men's voices? It ain't! What is it?

Thanks Alot,
Chris (Capua)

You can still get the Paperclip People remix through this website, IIRC.

from that description i have a feeling you're talking about the todd edwards remix of pheonix - if i ever feel better, but that isn't on gimix... what are the tracks either side of the one in question?

I agree that the Thomas Bangalter track in GIMIX ain't turbo  so far as i can tell. IT definately IS from the Trax on da rocks part 2 ep,

but the frucking thing is so elusive that I'm yet to be able to pinpoint which track it is. Maybe we need to play the track to a huge Bangalter fan??? (not that i'm not becoming one!)

I seem to remember Matt (Groovypanda) mentioning his collection of Roule releases with the word 'complete' in the sentence somewhere.... ;)

I made a mistake. It was in the Breezeblock 2 set! It is somewhere between Aldo Bender - Acid Enlightenment, and Mr. Oizo - M Seq. It is the only part in there with male vocals (though they are digitally enhanced).

Also, I can't seem to find the Paperclip People remix on the site.

Thanks alot for your help guys/gals, if I can help anyone in any way, let me know.

I finally got around to ripping and encoding my Avalanches vinyl, so there are mp3's for the Electricity and A Different Feeling EP's on my soulseek share, user name Clever_Name .

If you are willing to order from America, Reckless records has it for $14.99 (U.S. dollars). Their site is www.reckless.com. just do a site for the avalanches and it'll be there near the bottom, along with a listing for the undersea community 10" which they do NOT have (I've tried to order it twice, it gets cancelled.)
