i was chatting with a reddit user re: avalanches bits & pieces, and s/he shared the avalanches homebase site. wayback machine link:

http://web.archive.org/web/200112140817 ... ounds.html

i remember this site but don't remember if i downloaded any of the linked files. moot point as i don't seem to own these two:

Electricity (Early Demo Version)
Date: 1998
Length: 1:37 minutes
Great Quality - 1.48MB

Alarm 115 - Counting The Muscles
Date: Pre-1997
Length: 2:21 minutes
Great Quality - 2.15MB

did anyone save these way back when? thanks.

I don't have Counting The Muscles but I do have the Electricity Demo - http://www.mediafire.com/download/xke45 ... rtcele.mp3

Here is Crazy Billy Light bug which I think they were looking for - http://www.mediafire.com/download/qvppv4yt0r4b8yl/yllibyzarc.mp3

I also have this one just called "Live Festival", maybe someone can identify it -
http://www.mediafire.com/download/0uag9azuashig79/02_Live_Festival.mp3

It has some "A different feeling" and a few unidentified bits including a sample Sparky's magic piano - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kduPzj5aoM&t=5m4s

Feel free to share with the Reddit nation.
