If anyone lives in Sydney, the State Library of NSW has a documentary in their collection on the making of 'Since I Left You'. It was made by the ABC, and it only goes for 15 minutes, but it's definitely worth checking out. It shows the Avalanches sampling, recording and mixing the album, visiting second-hand record shops, and being interviewed. I'd make a copy and post it on-line, but it's on VHS and I have no clue how to do the conversion.
