hi swamp,

what do you recommend checking out in terms of the mixes? is there a good one to start with? like how i always recommend people to start with gimix or ibiza mix for the avs.

Does the Cornerstone Player volume 39 mix count? I think it would...
Simian (?) - "Mobile Disco 2003" - 2003
US, Cornerstone Player 039 Disc 2, Cornerstone Promotions: 55 minutes

Robert Wyatt - O Everywhere
I Fidayda - I Fidayda
Simian - Sunshine
Devils Anvil - Karkadon
NORE - Nothin
Goldfinger - Stress
Sbilulungan - Sabilulungan
The Detroit Grand Pubas - Funk Funk Y'all
808 State Vs Simian - 606 Tune
LCD Soundsystem - Losing My Edge
Simian - Never Be Alone [Simian Mobile Disco Remix]
Ark - Sucubz
Kenny Rogers - Ruby
AFX - Remix Acid
Daft Punk - Oh Yeah
Seeds - Trip Maker
Fat Truckers - Superbike
The Frisco Kid - Madness
Astrobotnia - Track A2
Supercollider - Messageacomin
Doctor John - Walk on Gilded Splitters
The Bug and the Rootsmen - Killer
Mr. Vegas - Durex
Annex Productions - www.com

I find all sorts of interesting music/artists thanks to the Cornerstone Player CDs - I ran into the Avs thanks to the 25m Live Mix being on volume 27 Disc 2. I'm sad they've generally stopped having a DJ mix CD per set.
