not exactly ladyflash 2, which would have been just fine with me. this sounds more like a b-side.

Integrating Ninja is such a mistake; Ian should stick to doing stuff on his own with an 8 track and a shitload of old records.

Live, it makes sense to have a Ninja to give the show a bit of focus, but she sounds fuck awful on record (IMHO).

yeah, I have a feeling they're going in a bad direction, this stuff is still groovy, just not as good as before. We'll see though, I still have lots of hope for the upcoming release.

I thought it was a pretty interesting track, but definitely lacks the punch they show on their album.....sounds like the middle of the set come down track before amping it all back up again.

I like how densely layered their stuff is. There are a bunch of different beats that you can pick and follow. Funny watching people dance in those situations, cos some will be going mental to the faster underlying stuff, and others will be cruising to the main beat.

But I suppose the big question is do they release something similar to thunder lightening strike as a second album or go all RJD2 or shadow and change direction (and my hasn't that been a raging success) or somewhere in between.

Big dilemmas with such a cracking debut album
