Busdriver - me time

Got this on order so hopefully will come soon

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRglOSBV2VE

Jay Z - death of autotune

I'm loving this cos I freaking hate autotune. if you cannot sing, play an instrument! I like the irony of Kanye having a production credit on this too

http://stereogum.com/archives/video/new-jayz-doa_072952.html

Also the new Mos Def stuff is sounding impressive

Recently:

My Old Familiar Friend Brendan Benson - more enjoyable power pop on his long overdue 4th album

Winterhwila Fontän - great album on Studio's Information record label co-produced by Rasmus Haag from Studio. If you like Studio, you should like this.

Neon Leon Sorcerer - more sunny space/cosmic disco vibes from Daniel Judd

Intuit Ramona Falls -as their press release says, musical influences include : The Homosexuals, Sly and the Family Stone, Talking Heads, PJ Harvey, Magnetic Fields, Gorecki, AC/DC, and Erik Satie.

Warm Heart of Africa The Very Best - Radioclit & Esau Mwamawaya follow up last years mix tape with this album of excellent afro pop

Yeah, not feeling Air's new album at all :(

The new Kings Of Convenience is ace though, if not a massive departure from their sound.

Also been loving:

Hospice The Antlers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQwkbRVqqxU

Unmap Volcano Choir

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XtpTqQJSUE

Logos Atlas Sounds

and Horse Meat Disco Volume One

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApM4XBthfSA

And I second the recent Strangefruit BiS shows. In fact, there's been loads of great shows lately and also worth checking out are the Horse Meat Disco/Aeroplane and Discossession/Cos Mes ones

I'm really enjoying it. It's a lot more experimental and electronic than the Bon Iver album. (which I also love)

Been meaning to get the The XX Album - got a couple of their tracks that are great.

Also forgot to mention the following:

Album Girls

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuoTjYYq ... re=related

Life Of Leisure EP Washed Out

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DkslcOhytU

Psychic Chasms Neon Indian

Also been enjoying BBC's Essential Mix again recently. There's been some great ones so far this year but my fave is definitely Greg Wilson's one back in January

The Drums are so much fun man, thanks for the tip.

And as above Bibio album would probably be my number 1 for the year.

Also my greatest discoveries of the year would have to be everything by Cornelius and everything by Quantic. Really diggin' the vibe at the moment.
