Soulwax - NY Excuse....you know, I didnt quite dig that Justice remix....its like its off beat or something and never quite lives up to what it almost could be...i really like the original AND the Hot Lipps version though!

Just saw MSTRKRFT Sunday night and they KILLED. Their remix of "Monster Hospital" by Metric is AWESOME.

Been bumping Caribou's "Milk of Human Kindness" lately...

Anybody heard the dog-fronted metal band Caninus?

Strawberry Alarm Clock - Incense & Peppermints
Daedelus - At my heels
Joy Division - She's Lost Control

to the list (my playlist isn't very organized as you can see)

Latest listenings by me are

steinski - what does it all mean

This is great, and should be taught to all music kids.....is pretty much an historic document

spoon - gagagagagaga

Love it...the underdog is a classic track

fujiya and miyagi - lightbulbs

More of the same, but is pretty chilled and fun listening

giant sand - provisions

Howe Gelb with some help all over the shop. Nice alt country

plantlife - time traveller

Is a good album, but not sure if I like it as much as the last one

cold war kids - loyalty to loyalty

Still getting into this. Doesn't seem as strong as the last one, but that was a bloody corker

plan b - who needs actions when you got words

I don't know much about this guy, but I downloaded one song "sick 2 def" and it was so bloody strong. The EP version sounds a bit fuller, but is an interesting album. Hip hop with a bunch of instrumentation, and some acoustic guitar

low - drums and guns

A nice album from the alt country bent

calexico - carried to dust

A cracker this is worth a listen

I have been digging the new Mr Scruff Album Ninja tuna. Also on high rotation at the moment is the Rubs Hip Hop History 1979. What a damn funky year.

Recently enjoying "A Mouthful" (especially the first half of it) from The Dø

Reminds me of the good old Concretes.

Boy you got nerve... :)

Also "Doll in the box" from Cristina- she's a real queen :!:

All the Aeroplane remixes and DJ sets that are floating around the internet especially the Resident Advisor, Take Off and Flying mixes and their remixes for Grace Jones, Friendly Fires, Sebastian Tellier & The Shortwave Set

I've lately been loving Riton's alter ego Krautrock influenced album Eine Kleine Nacht Musik. You can also download a free mix from here which is well worth checking out.

I've also been enjoying The Whitest Boy Alive's new album Rules as well as the nu-balearic musings of Soft Rocks

Also highly recommended is one half of Studio, D. Lissvik's 7 Trx + Intermission album and it sounds like you'd imagine one half of Studio to sound, which is no bad thing

agreed on aeroplane mixes and eine kleine nacht musik.

circlesquare - songs about dancing and drugs
bit of joy division, matthew dear, junior boys.

hudson mohawke - polyfolk dancing
not sure about this yet. kind of a mess. i prefer prefuse 73. maybe i don't listen to enough recent hiphop to get this?

jamie lidell - jim
glad i caught up with this.

saint etienne - london conversations
like a warm blanket.
