The Third Hand - album out now!

To celebrate the release of RJD2's new album "The Third Hand", we're giving you the chance to ask him anything you want!

Maybe you've got a question about which song off the album is RJ's favourite, or who he'd choose to play a gig with. When you've thought up what you want to say, film yourself and upload the question onto YouTube and add the tag "askrjd2".

Once you've done that your question will appear on askrjd2.com, and RJ himself is going to be popping by and answering some, so stay tuned!

The second RJD2 album was so dull I can't even remember why I didn't like it...

i agree - the second rjd2 album was really dull, i can't be bothered with the new one, especially with all the negativity around it.

(and shadow? he used to be my favourite artist before he released that mess...)

cozmo, the first post said "celebrating the release of "the third hand" no, since we last spoke was indeed quite nice, but the 3rd hand has been hated upon, do to the fact he went to a new direction, that direction being: indy music. He sings through out the album, and only worries about production of the music, and nothing else, it is a step backwards from the last 2 albums, but I wouldn't say it's utter trash, and definately not as much of a shit step as DJ Shadow's mistake.

Dead ringer and seasons feat. Cunning linguists are true favorites of mine, but the rest is all rubbish. How come both Rjd2 and Shadow have changed there music so much over the last couple of years?

Their albums all consists of samples they found while digging the crates, maybe they haven´t found any brilliant samples and decided to take the matter in their own hands..

I guess I´ll have to live the rest of my life listening to endtroducing, Private press, dead ringer and sily...

hmm, you mean one person said 'since we last spoke' was dull? well...two people said that.

and i was one of them.

and i'm not a fool. music taste doesn't determine someone's intelligence does it? it's stuff like...i don't know...counting, that determines someone's intelligence.
