Does anyone have a good or know where to get a good program for recording streaming audio. All I can find via google are programs that either let you record 2 minutes, or the best one 25 recordings - but only at 128kps...

Any help would be appreciated.

Try StepVoice Recorder. I have used it a couple of times and you can adjust the bitrate up to 256 if you need CD quality....

Thanks Houston. I will seek out the recorder you have mentioned in your post. Its use is to record all the Mr Scruff Hotpot sets, so if anyone is interested in them I'll be sharing on slsk once recorded.

I think there was a firefox (if you are using firefox) plugin that uncovered the source file of online streams too that may be useful

If I could remember the name of it, that would be more useful

ahhhh it is this one:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2254/

doesn't always work, but is worth a look
