really hope so. Think it sounds good. Could be some sort of interlude. Is that a sample of Todd Edwards Phoenix remix?

On their Facebook, someone posted about the mix and The Avalanches responded: "Mix not by the Avalanches x"

In the "this may or not be a new mix tape" thread it was stated that the mix was done by Cameron Bird from Architecture in Helsinki. It's just final track, about a minute long, that is possibly a new Avalanches track.

Turns out that the mystery song was a snippet of a 12 year old demo:
